CORE Collection: Remedy Oils

The Core Collection, designed to bring natural, therapeutic support into your daily routine. Each blend combines the power of carefully chosen essential oils and the gentle touch of apricot kernel oil, a nourishing carrier that’s ideal for most skin types. Offered in both dropper and spray forms for easy application, these oils are ready to be used at any moment when life calls for balance, calm, or a little extra energy.

Essential oils, celebrated for their aromatic potency and healing properties, work by interacting with the limbic system—the area of the brain linked to emotions, memories, and behaviours. Whether you need a moment of calm with RESTORE (for soothing anxiety, quieting the mind, and encouraging restful sleep), a revitalising boost with VITALIXIR (to energise and uplift), or support for muscle tension and congestion with WINTERBALM, each blend offers natural ways to help restore balance to mind and body.

What are essential oils, and how can they support my well-being?Essential oils are volatile plant extracts, meaning they evaporate quickly and release aromatic compounds into the air. These oils contain concentrated natural compounds that can have therapeutic effects, influencing both mind and body. When inhaled or applied to the skin, essential oils can promote relaxation, energise the senses, or even support the immune system, making them a valuable part of a holistic wellness routine.
-
How should I use the oils directly on my body? Our Oils are incredibly versatile. You can apply them to pulse points as well as using them in massage. Massage: For targeted relief, warm a few drops in your hands, inhaling the aroma deeply. Then, gently massage the oil into areas of tension, like your shoulders, neck, or lower back. This practice helps to relax muscles and soothe aches. Massage can be especially beneficial after exercise or a long day to promote circulation and ease stiffness. For larger areas, consider combining the oil with a carrier, such as sweet almond or apricot kernel oil, to make the blend go further. Direct Application: Apply a few drops to your pulse points (wrists, behind the ears, or along the collarbone) to enjoy the therapeutic fragrance and benefits throughout the day.
-
Can I diffuse my oils or use them for Inhalation?Inhalation: Rub a drop or two between your palms, cup your hands over your face, and breathe deeply. This is an excellent way to quickly benefit from your oils, particularly before meditation or whenever you need a moment of calm or focus. Steam Inhalation: For congestion, add a few drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and breathe deeply. This can help to clear sinuses, soothe inflammation, and ease respiratory discomfort, if you have this discomfort the best oil to use is our dual action blend, Winterbalm. Diffusers: Diffusers are created for undiluted essential oils. We dilute our dropper bottles, Carrier oils like apricot kernel oil aren't suited for oil diffusers. They’re too thick, and diffusers are designed for the thin, volatile nature of pure essential oils, which easily evaporate and disperse into the air. Adding carrier oils can actually clog and damage your diffuser, and they won’t produce the same aromatic effects as essential oils on their own. For diffusing, it’s best to use undiluted essential oils. If you still want to diffuse a blend that’s diluted in a carrier oil, consider applying it to a cotton ball and placing it near you, or on a warm surface (like a warmed-up mug or bowl) to release some of the aroma without risking your diffuser. Oil burners: Using an essential oil blend diluted in a carrier oil, like apricot kernel oil, in a wax/oil burner can work, but it requires a bit of caution. Wax/oil burners use an open flame to heat the oil, which means that thicker oils like carrier oils can heat unevenly, causing them to burn rather than gently release their aroma. If you’d like to try, here are a few tips: Use Sparingly: Add just a small amount of the diluted blend. Too much can cause it to overheat and give off a burned smell. Add Water First: Fill the burner’s dish with a little water, then add a few drops of the blend. This can help dilute the oils further and prevent burning by keeping the temperature lower. Monitor the Heat: Some burners can get quite hot. If you notice any smoking or harsh odour, extinguish the candle and let it cool before trying again. Pure essential oils (without carrier oils) are usually a better choice for burners, but with careful handling, a diluted blend can work absolutely fine. Love your blend & want to diffuse it? Drop a message in the chat box and I can let you know if we have undiluted blends available.

Can I add Core Remedy oils to lotions or my bath?Yes! You can blend a few drops with your favourite lotion or moisturiser for nourishing skin benefits or add to a warm bath for an aromatic, soothing experience. Bath: Add 5-10 drops to a warm bath for a relaxing, aromatic soak. This method allows the oils to absorb through the skin and works particularly well with grounding or relaxing blends. As you relax in the bath, visualise the oil’s energy infusing you, releasing tension and promoting calm. Lotions & Creams: Enhance the effects of your favourite lotion by adding a few drops of your oil blend. This is especially helpful for daily hydration, muscle relaxation, or adding a gentle layer of aroma. Rub the lotion in with intention, visualising any specific benefits you want to draw in, from relaxation to emotional upliftment. When adding to lotions or moisturisers be mindful that unless it is unscented this will change the fragrance.
-
Are there any precautions I should follow? For external use only. Never take these oils internally, and if irritation or rash occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if needed. If you're aware of an allergy to one or more of the oils in your blend and would like an alternative created for you just drop me a message.
