A Bit About Me
I’m Serena, founder of Shadow & Sage, where I blend my deep love for nature with a passion for supporting others on their personal healing journeys. Based in Hampshire, UK, I create herbal and spiritual products that combine the old-world magic of traditional remedies with a modern understanding of the body and mind.

My journey into herbalism and holistic practices has been a long and dedicated path, shaped by training with institutions like the Heartwood Foundation, the Herbal Academy, and the School of Evolutionary Herbalism.
Over the years, I’ve also gained skills in trauma coaching, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and psychoanalysis, giving me a grounded yet sensitive approach to the complex needs of the human spirit. Each product, consultation, and workshop offered through Shadow & Sage is infused with this knowledge, intention, and care.

​My work with Shadow & Sage is also deeply rooted in ongoing study and exploration. With extensive knowledge of plant energetics and a fascination with the poison path, I continually research and refine my understanding of the potent, often mysterious properties that certain botanicals hold. I turn to ancient sources—grimoire texts and age-old herbal lore—seeking out wisdom that has been cultivated and preserved across generations. This knowledge is woven into my spiritual oils, ritual blends, and intention-based creations, each crafted to support profound, intentional work.
